Viação Primor Fleet acquires 50 new Apache Vip units

2019-02-28 Viação Primor Ltda., Located in the city of São Luís, in the state of Maranhão, has acquired 50 Apache VIP units, the best-selling urban transit bus in Brazil, produced by Caio Induscar.

The vehicles are part of the company`s fleet renovation and Program for restructuring the Public Transport System of the Maranhão capital. They will operate on the municipal and metropolitan lines, providing a more agile and modern transport service.

With a 100% Caio fleet, Viação Primor operates with vehicles established in the transport market, such as the Millennium Articulado and the Apache VIP, known for their sturdiness, quality, durability and technology.

About the Apache VIP model

Of the 50 units acquired, 60% have air conditioning. All vehicles are equipped with gray solar tinted windows and fully upholstered, injected seats. The buses have other features that offer greater convenience during trips for drivers and collectors, such as hydraulic seats.

With 12,565 meters in length and three access doors, the vehicles are 100% accessible, with lifts and seats for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly.

They also have four electronic LED itineraries and camera monitoring, in order to guarantee even more safety for the passengers.

For more than 73 years, Caio Induscar has been a determining factor in the evolution of public transport in Brazil, aiming to improve the system and the well-being of the passengers.
