Units of Millennium urban bus, of Caio brand, are delivered in São Paulo

2021-07-27 Express Transportes Urbanos, that operates in Area 4 of SPTrans (which operates in the public transport management for passengers in the city of São Paulo), acquired 8 units of Millennium bus, of Caio brand, 5 in the standard model and 3 articulated.

Produced in the low-floor version, the rear-engine urban vehicles are in their fourth generation and follow the standards determined by SPTrans, with silver and red paintwork.

About the Millennium

Millennium buses in the standard version have a capacity of 33 passengers and in the articulated version, of 127 passengers.

All units have a ramp to promote accessibility for people with reduced mobility, embossed stop signs for people with visual impairments, space for guide dogs and wheelchairs, in addition to preferential seats for passengers with disabilities, obese, pregnant women and the elderly.

Both versions feature items that provide comfort during the journey, such as air conditioning, glass with barriers to solar effects, ergonomic and upholstered seats. USB port for charging cell phones and other mobile devices were installed at various points in the salon.

The internal lighting and electronic itineraries, located at strategic points on the bodywork are in LED. They also have preparation for a micro camera, ticket gate, electronic validator and Wi-Fi internet signal.
