2012-10-25Bus builder Caio Induscar restyled the Apache Vip model, the best selling urban bus in Brazil and by the company. The changes made the bus bodies design more modern and bold, as well more comfortable for passengers.
The main differences between the new Apache Vip and the previous version are the changes in the bus body front lines (bumper and grille) and the new design of the light clusters.
The rear part has a clean and harmonious design. The lights received a smoked acrylic mask, with a greater area. Caio Induscar was the pioneer in the national market to use such mask in urban buses, providing more sophistication to this type of vehicle. The windshield and the hear inspection window are still the same, optimizing parts replacement for customers.
Inside, Apache Vip has the option of injected seats, which are part of a new family of seats produced by the bus builder.
The model can be built on Agrale, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Volkswagen and Volvo chassis. It is 9,500 to 13,200 mm high, 2,500 mm wide (external), and 2,350 mm wide (internal), with external height from 3,185 to 3,260 and internal from 2,065 to 2,140.
It has Led lighting and electronic itinerary, besides lift for handicapped people and pneumatic activated access doors to better serve the passengers. Moreover, driver´s seat with longitudinal regulation, back reclining and seat height adjustment, with three-point retractable seatbelt, assuring drivers´ security.
As options, it has air conditioning, windows with glued fixed total glass, wheel caps, hot and cold air windshield demister and polystyrene thermal insulation to further enhance drivers and passengers comfort.
