NEW CAIO APACHE VIP JOINS TIPBUS FLEET

2023-09-12 Caio, a leading company in the city bus segment, has delivered the first 8 units of the zero km Apache Vip, produced for TipBus Transportes.
A total of 15 buses were purchased by the company, which operates city and intercity lines in cities such as Guarulhos and Itaquaquecetuba. The vehicles were produced in accordance with the requirements of EMTU - SP (Metropolitan Urban Transport Company of São Paulo) and follow the paint pattern characteristic of the operators that operate in the RMESP (Metropolitan Region of the State of São Paulo).

About Apache VIP
The Apache Vip is 12,700 mm long, has three doors positioned to the right of the body, front boarding and total capacity for 81 passengers.
The more spacious interior lounge, the fully upholstered seats and the air conditioning provide convenience and thermal comfort during trips.
All Apache Vip buses are 100% accessible, with seats reserved for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly, semi-automatic elevators and a wheelchair box with a retractable seat.
Modern, the vehicles are equipped with on-board technology such as a GPS system, electromechanical turnstiles and USB sockets available in the interior lounge for recharging mobile devices.
The units come ready for the subsequent installation of a camera monitoring system, electronic validators and an audio system.
They also have a multiplex system that identifies possible operational and electrical faults, allowing the driver to have full control of the vehicle`s functions while it is in operation.
To make it easier for passengers to identify the lines, electronic LED routes have been positioned at strategic points on the body.
