HP ITA Consortium receives further delivery of Millennium BRTs from Caio Induscar

2015-02-11 HP ITA Consortium, the Goianan company which operates in the Federal District Public Transport system, is receiving 25 Millennium BRT from Caio Induscar in addition to a previous order of 40 units.

These 25 units will form part of Bacia 3 operations which serves the areas of Núcleo Bandeirante, Samambaia, Riacho Fundo I & II, and Recanto das Emas.

Mounted on a Mercedes Benz chassis, the model meets pollution emission standards based on the Euro V motor standard.

The buses are equipped with air conditioning, elevators, fully cushioned seats, glued smoked fixed windows, three-piece windshield, which facilitates maintenance. Thinking of safety and improved driveability, the BRTs are also equipped with a Multiplex System which identifies faults in the vehicle’s operation and electric system, on-board computer, fan, and height adjustable driver’s seatbelt.

The articulated Millennium BRTs are 18.6 metres long and 2.6 metres wide with a total carrying capacity of 139 passengers, and full accessibility.
