Fortaleza renews Complementary Transport fleet with Caio F2400 units.

2019-05-31 The city of Fortaleza received 25 units of the Caio Induscar F2400 micro-bus urban version this week. The successful sales of the brand come from the quality, structural strength and durability of all components, in addition to the pleasant and modern design which is updated with the new world trends.

The purchase process of the vehicles was accelerated through the partnership between Caio and Ceará Diesel, a Mercedes-Benz dealership, which also has the ARCE-Metropolitan standard F2400 units for commercialization.

The new buses were purchased to meet the renewal of the Complementary Transport System fleet, through a partnership between the cith hall and the ETUFOR - Urban Transportation and COOTRAPS Agencies - Cooperative of Autonomous Passenger Carriers of the State of Ceará. The renewal will be 100 units and this is the first batch.

Currently, the System is responsible for operating 20 lines, which serve both Fortaleza and its metropolitan region.

The vehicles have the same internal pattern (seat layout) and external (paint) of the other buses of the municipal fleet and will complement the urban transportation of the capital of Ceará, considered the fifth largest city in Brazil, with approximately 2.5 million inhabitants.

About the F2400

The F2400 was also chosen for its already well-known benefits, inherent to the Caio brand, such as ease of maintenance coupled with the replacement of parts as well as the reduction of vehicle weight due to the use of lighter materials and better finishing.

The F2400 micro-buses will have the role of integrating the transportation system, arriving at locations in which a conventional bus can not.

The vehicles have the capacity to accommodate 36 passengers, 18 seats, and total accessibility, with a lift and seats reserved for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and elderly. Ergonomic armchairs, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi internet provide superior comfort to the users.
