Espírito Santo receives delivery of Caio Induscar buses

2014-12-03 Bus operators in Espírito Santo, increasing and updating their fleets, have received buses from Caio Induscar. The aim is to improve urban mobility in the region called Grande Vitória, which includes the capital Vitória and surrounding cities.
They have acquired 296 Apache VIP units, complete with all the items which make this the best-selling urban bus in the country. This includes: elevator, electronic itineraries with white LEDs, and injected seats providing improved passenger comfort. With regard to driver safety and wellbeing, they also come with a hydraulic driver’s seat and directional ventilation, and door interlocks.
Recently restyled, the Apache VIP IV also stands out for its design allied to traditional low maintenance costs.
With the aim of increasing passenger capacity on high volume routes in Grande Vitória, they have also ordered 9 Articulated Millennium buses each with 52 seats.
Other models have also been acquired to meet the needs of increasing public transport in the region.
Three 3 Super Foz units were also chosen to meet the needs of the state capital on executive lines. With a capacity of 40 passengers, they come with air conditioning, and fabric covered passenger and driver seats.
A special Foz 2400 Urban was designed to meet the needs of the Projeto Mão na Roda (Hands on the Wheel Project) in Grande Vitória which is exclusively for wheelchair users. The Foz 2400 has 6 wheelchair places and spaces for 6 companions.
