In June bus builder Caio Induscar delivered 18 Apache VIP buses, the biggest selling city bus in the country, to Viação Joana D’Arc, one of the main transport operators in Espírito Santo State.

The vehicles are working in the city of Linhares, and are the first in the state with air conditioning, improving comfort for public transport users.

The buses have an overall length of 12,735mm and a carrying capacity for 39 seated, space for one wheelchair, and 37 standing passengers.

As well as air conditioning, the bus comes with fixed side windows, fully cushioned injection moulded passenger seats, providing more ergonomics for trips; an elevator for better access to the vehicle; and are prepared for future installation of micro cameras and loud speakers, offering improved route safety. The vehicles also have hydraulic driver’s seats with headrest and adjustable height seatbelt, windshield fan and demister to aid driveability.

It is fundamental to Caio Induscar to produce buses which meet client expectations improving the quality of urban transportation.
