Caio Induscar Produces a New generation of Apache VIP Single Decker Buses for Araraquara.

2016-04-11 Viação Paraty a public transport company which has operated for more than 34 years in the City of Araraquara has acquired 45 Apache VIP Single Decker Buses; the best-selling model from the manufacturer Caio Induscar – Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias LTDA.

Viação Paraty was one of the successful companies that recently won the public tender that took place in Araraquara. The City which has over 220 thousand inhabitants is, according to the Municipal Human Development Index – IDH-M, the seventh best city to live in, in the State of São Paulo.

The 45 units in production will be delivered by the middle of April and operation is expected to start at the beginning of May, 2016. “The new generation of Apache VIP buses was chosen to offer our passengers a safe and comfortable journey, in line with our promise to offer the population quality transport”, stated Gustavo Herszkowicz, Director of Viação Paraty.

The vehicles boast door safety locks, electronic Smart LED itinerary displays, and a Fleet Monitoring System. They also have comfortable and ergonomic seating for passengers, in addition to an Electronic Ticketing System.

The fleet will be 100% accessible with lifts and seats for the elderly, disabled or people with special needs. For increased safety they can also be monitored in real time via GPS with updated information on journey status.

Part of the mission of Caio Induscar with more than 70 years in the sector and that of Viação Paraty, is to once again contribute to improvements in public transport.
