Caio Induscar delivers 27 buses to Nova Friburgo

2019-11-12 Considering Brazilian Switzerland, the city of Nova Friburgo, located in the Rio de Janeiro State Mountain Region, received 27 new units from the Apache Vip, front-engine bus, urban sales leader, produced by bus manufacturer Caio Induscar.

The new vehicles were acquired for the renewal of Nova Faol`s fleet , which operates on the city`s municipal lines and has over 69 years of history in public transport.

Most vehicles - 20 units, are equipped with air conditioning (hot and cold air) due to the temperature of the Highlands. They will serve passengers from the Olaria, Riograndina and Theodoro de Oliveira lines.

The other seven vehicles will operate in the third district, in the region of Salinas, Conquista, São Lourenço and Campo do Coelho.

All buses are fully accessible, equipped with semi-automatic lifts and armchairs for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and the elderly.

They have technological features such as the multiplex system, which gives the driver total control of the bus functions and assists in identifying vehicle operational and electrical faults; USB sockets for recharging mobile devices; wireless stop request; LED lighting; five electronic itineraries; preparation for internal camera monitoring system, offering greater security for everyone using public transport.

Caio gaining space in the market

The company Faol, which since its foundation aims to offer quality public transport to Nova Friburgo, recently resumed the acquisition of Caio vehicles, appreciating innovative and excellent products.
