Caio Induscar has built nine Solar II buses for Star Motors of El Salvador. The buses will run on routes across different states and provinces in the country making between 100km and 200km trips. The Solar was developed for long, medium and short distance routes due to its comfort, design and durability.

The vehicles are built on a Mercedes-Benz chassis and have a maximum carrying capacity of 54 passengers. They have air conditioning due to the region’s hot climate; optimised long distance model passenger seats, and two monitors, giving improved trip comfort; a hydraulic driver’s seat with longitudinal adjustment and headrest; they also possess fog lamps and two pantograph doors helping accessibility. Each bus has its own exclusive paint design, giving the vehicles more elegance.
