CAIO GROUP ENCOURAGES SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND GETS READY FOR THE SESI GAMES
2024-07-04In the last weekend of June, the Caio Group reaffirmed its commitment to the health and well-being of its employees by promoting two sporting events: a friendly society soccer match and an internal street race. Both initiatives are part of the preparations for the Group`s return to the SESI Games, a decade after its last participation.
The friendly soccer match, held on June 29 in the morning, took place on the Field of the Industrial Complex and brought together four teams, each representing one of the Group`s companies: Caio, Fiberbus, Inbrasp and the Industrial Complex.
This event not only brought the employees together, but also prepared them to represent their companies and the Caio Group in the ``Free 7-a-side Soccer`` modality of the SESI Games, which are scheduled to start on July 13.
Caio Botucatu`s People & Management director, Dalton Vieira, in his opening speech, highlighted the importance of the Caio Group`s return to the SESI Games and wished the players good luck.
“Take advantage of this new opportunity to represent your companies and the Caio Group at the SESI Games. I hope everyone has fun and respects their teammates. ”
Other managers from companies belonging to the Caio Group were also present to honor the event and show their institutional support for the initiative.
The following day, June 30, was the turn of the internal race, which brought together more than 80 people, including Caio Group employees and support staff.
The start took place at eight in the morning at Gate 2 of Caio Botucatu. Before that, the industrial vice-president of the Caio Group, Mr. Maurício Lourenço da Cunha, expressed his satisfaction at seeing the return of sports activities within the company.
“The return of the SESI Games after 10 years is an important milestone in the corporate culture, reflecting the continuous investment in the personal and professional development of employees through sport. This initiative not only strengthens the spirit of unity, but also highlights the Caio Group`s role in encouraging quality of life in its companies. ”
The People & Management director, Dalton Vieira, was also present and underscored the importance of the event as an opportunity for employees to interact and demonstrate their sporting spirit.
