CAIO BOTUCATU PROMOTES AGAIN MEETING OF BUS ENTHUSIASTS

2024-10-09 Last Tuesday, October 8, Caio, leading Brazilian urban bus manufacturer, had the honor of receiving, once again, at its Botucatu plant, two groups of ‘busologists’ – bus enthusiasts – coming from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, for an immersion in the “universe” of Caio buses.
The visitors had the opportunity to learn about the history of the member companies of Grupo Caio, attend an exhibition of a historic Caio model, 1995 Vitória, kindly provided by one of the busologists, visit the bus manufacturing processes and enjoy a special lunch in the company`s VIP restaurant.
The event took place in the morning and afternoon, bringing together 31 bus enthusiasts and collaborators from the Marketing, Design, Engineering and Quality sectors, who introduced Caio Group and its functional areas, promoting rich corporate induction.
During the guided tour by the processes, the visitors had the opportunity to observe closely the bus manufacturing processes, from chassis preparation to release of finished vehicles.
Most of the participants are bus enthusiasts since they were children. One example is Luan da Costa Santos, of “Transportes Costa” page, who shared: “My passion for buses was developed in my childhood, around 4, and was inspired by my father’s job at that time, as a bus ticket collector.”

Luan adds that, even though he already attended a visit to Caio in 2019, he could experience a unique moment: “It was a unique opportunity to visit the factory again and expand my knowledge about this urban transport and its manufacturing processes, which I admire so much”.
Upon the visit completion, there was a draw for an Apache Vip scale model, delivery of gifts and the official photo of the visit, with all visitors posing on the lawn next to Caio logo.
