Caio at Arena ANTP 2019 - Millennium version 100% electric

Always aligned with its premises, Caio is a constant presence in events that promote discussions about mobility. That is why it will participate in Arena ANTP - Brazilian Congress of Urban Mobility, which will take place at Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo, from September 24th to 26th.

The organization estimates an audience of more than 5,000 participants, including visitors and public managers, transportation system operators, industry technicians and the specialized press.

The ANTP Arena Congress has a space for debates on urban mobility in Brazil and around the world, addressing issues related to sustainability and technologies, energy matrix and integrated mobility cases in Latin America.

In the exhibition space, Caio is represented by the Millennium bus, in the 100% electric version, with BYD chassis, one of the brand`s partners in electromobility and clean energy projects. In addition to the bus shown at the Fair, Caio developed and develops other products powered by alternative energy. Another important partner is Eletra, which allies itself with Caio in electromobility projects aimed at the evolution of urban transportation by means of electric traction: trolleybus (aerial network); hybrid (generator motor and batteries); pure electric E-Bus (batteries), besides the Dual Bus in two versions: hybrid + trolleybus and hybrid + pure electric.

The Millennium exposed at the event has 12,945 meters in length and batteries that give the vehicle autonomy of an average of 250 km, in addition to the technology that allows the kinetic energy to be reversed during braking, feeding the bus with the generated charge. It is equipped with a multiplex system, which identifies possible failures in the operational and electrical part of the vehicle.

The unit has three access doors, capacity for 81 people, 31 seated and 49 standing. Air conditioning and fully upholstered ergonomic armchairs provide passenger comfort. The low floor and seats reserved for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and the elderly guarantee full accessibility.

It has embedded technology items such as USB sockets for recharging mobile devices and preparation for installation of wi-fi internet. LED electronic itineraries, located in strategic points of the body, allow better visualization.
