Santa Edwiges expands its fleet with seven Caio buses

2020-07-29 Viação Santa Edwiges, which is part of the Paschoalin Group, recently acquired seven buses, produced by Caio Induscar. The new vehicles are operating in the transportation system of the city of Betim, in the state of Minas Gerais.

The commuter bus company, which has been in the transportation market since the 1950s, aims to offer its customers an urban mobility service with excellence, comfort, and quality and, for this reason, has chosen two Caio models to expand its fleet.

Of the seven units acquired, five are F2400 urban version micro bus, which offer more practicality to circulate through narrower streets of this city in Minas Gerais.

Now, the other two units are front-engine Apache Vip, a renowned product in the transportation market, due to its quality, durability, and technology.

All acquired vehicles have an elevator; LED electronic itineraries; internal camera monitoring system; preparation for electromechanical turnstiles and electronic validator.

Aiming at everyone’s comfort and convenience during the trips, the buses have semi-upholstered seats for passengers and hydraulic seats with headrests and lateral displacement for the drivers.

Thinking of passenger safety, they are also equipped with bellows type doors, with pneumatic activation and blockers, which prevent unexpected opening during the trajectory.
