2015-12-14Caio Induscar is launching a new export version of the rear motor Mondego, which was developed for the domestic market.
The first new Mondego unit was acquired by clients in Chile, a traditional market for Caio products; it is built on a Mercedes-Benz chassis.
This urban bus comes with strong well-proportioned lines. Many items were devised with the aim of combining technology and low maintenance costs, these include: front LED sidelights; pillar mounted rear view mirror; and wheel arches integrated with the body.
A big feature of this model is the light array which is interchangeable between other Caio buses reducing maintenance costs and strengthening make identity. Also comes with bellows type door, windshield with new curvature giving higher visibility, new cockpit and panel, forced air vent for drivers cabin, and LED panels built into the itineraries to improve visibility and increase component life.
The model comes with ramps improving access for those with special needs and space for a wheelchair guaranteeing access for all.
The buses have a total length of 13,150mm and space for 32 seated passengers including one with special needs, and a total carrying capacity of 88 passengers.
Investing in constant improvements and offering products which meet the specific needs of every client form part of Caiop Induscar’s mission.
