Itatiba renews fleet with 32 Caio buses

2019-09-06 Located 80 km from São Paulo, the city of Itatiba now has 32 buses produced by Caio Induscar.

The new vehicles, acquired by the company TCI - Transporte Coletivo de Itatiba, are part of the fleet renewal and mark a new phase of the city`s public transportation.

Of the 32 units delivered to the company, a traditional Caio brand customer, 26 are of the Apache Vip model, with front engine, the best selling city bus in the country and a well-known product in the transport market, due to its quality, durability and technology.

The other 6 units are from the F2400 minibus, in the city version, which brings convenience to circulate through the city`s narrowest streets.

All buses have a new look, with a layout that honors Itatiba`s main sights, such as the Matrix, Youth Park and the Museum.

They are equipped with technological features such as the multiplex system, which gives the driver complete control of bus functions and assists in identifying faults in the operating and electrical part of the vehicle; GPS and wifi preparation; turnstile and electronic ticketing; LED electronic routes; USB sockets and a built-in camera monitoring system, providing greater security for everyone using public transport.

They are fully accessible, with automatic lifts and seats intended for people with disabilities (PcD), reduced mobility and the elderly.

For over 73 years, Caio Induscar has been loyal to its customers for the tradition of quality and technology of the products offered, always being present in the renewals and extensions of fleets of the municipalities of the country.
