2024-04-23Viação Pássaro Branco recently renewed its fleet by acquiring 05 units of the Caio brand`s Apache Vip bus, the best-selling urban bus in Brazil. The vehicles are operating in the public transportation system of the municipality of Patos de Minas, located in the state of Minas Gerais.
The city, considered a regional economic hub, is the largest city in the Alto Paranaíba region, comprised of ten municipalities.
Fleet Modernization
Sales representative Reginaldo Carvalho emphasizes that the acquisition of the new buses marks the modernization of Viação Pássaro Branco`s fleet.
``The new buses are the company`s first equipped with air conditioning to operate in Patos de Minas. Like Pássaro Branco, Caio aims to meet customer expectations and ensure passenger well-being by offering quality products that stand out when incorporated into public transportation fleets,`` highlights the representative.
About the Acquired Buses
The units are of the Apache Vip model, fifth generation from Caio, in the midibus version. They have a length of 11.325 meters, a total capacity for 69 passengers, and were mounted on OF-1619/52 chassis (Mercedes-Benz), featuring Euro VI technology.
Each unit is equipped with an automatic lift at the central door, on the right side of the body; reserved seats for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility, and elderly passengers; and an exclusive area for wheelchair users or visually impaired individuals accompanied by guide dogs, providing 100% accessibility in transportation.
Prioritizing passenger thermal comfort during journeys, the vehicles feature air conditioning and windows with smoked glass.
The units are prepared for the installation of micro cameras, Wi-Fi systems, electromechanical turnstiles, and validators, to serve users who pay fares through electronic ticketing, providing greater agility in the boarding and alighting process.
All vehicles have LED electronic itineraries and a multiplex system, which alerts the driver to possible faults in the bus`s electrical system, enhancing safety.
