RIO NEGRO RENEWS ITS CHARTER FLEET WITH 19 CAIO F2500

2024-12-05 Rio Negro Fretamento e Turismo, a bus company located in Contagem (MG), recently acquired 19 units of Caio`s Foz Super midibus, version F2500.

Recognized for their high performance in rural areas, these vehicles will be used by Rio Negro for corporate charters to transport Vale mining operators.

Caio`s representative in Minas Gerais, Anselmo Espírito Santo da Silva, highlights the customer`s satisfaction on receiving the F2500: “In its first purchase of new buses from Caio, to renew its fleet, the customer said it was very satisfied with the quality of the product, which will be of great value in the company`s operations.”

About the F2500

These units were built on Volkswagen 15-210 ODR chassis, with a front engine and a length of 10,150 mm. They have capacity for 35 people, of which 34 are fully upholstered passenger seats in the touring model, reclining, with headrests and armrests, and one driver`s seat, hydraulic, upholstered and with side shifting.

The buses are equipped with two central doors, one pantograph, with pneumatic drive, and the other sedan, with manual drive, and a DPM elevator - Mobile Seating Device. Both are located on the right-hand side of the bodies and the pantograph door has an emergency system.

The F2500’s onboard technologies include air conditioning, a reverse gear alarm with night attenuator, a reverse sensor in the rear bumper, a front electronic route, LED lighting in the passenger compartment and in the door box above the steps, and points for installing micro cameras and a Wi-Fi system.

They also have a multiplex keyboard that identifies possible operational and electrical faults, allowing the driver to have full control of the vehicle`s functions while it is in operation.
