CAIO STANDS OUT ONCE AGAIN AT AN EVENT ON ELECTRIC MOBILITY, THIS TIME IN FLORIANÓPOLIS (SC).

2024-04-26 On April 25th and 26th, Caio, a bus manufacturer from São Paulo and a leader in the production of urban buses, including electric ones, participated in the C-Move Sul event in Florianópolis, SC.

An exclusive electric vehicle from the brand, with 100% Brazilian technology, was presented during the event held at Florianópolis Airport. The exhibited model features an eMillennium body, electric traction, and electrification by Eletra, Weg motor and batteries, and a Mercedes-Benz 0500-U platform kit prepared for electric use.

Authorities, businessmen, and suppliers from the electromobility chain were able to view the showcased bus and participate in panels discussing relevant topics for the sector`s advancement. Representing Caio were Tânia Pires de Souza, the Group Caio`s communication and marketing manager, and sales representative Jardel Stadtlober.

About the exhibited product

The eMillennium measures 12,150 mm in length and has a total capacity for 71 people.

The displayed unit is fully accessible, equipped with access ramps and seats for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility, and the elderly, as well as a space for wheelchair users and visually impaired individuals accompanied by guide dogs.

To ensure passenger comfort during journeys, the bus features LED lighting, air conditioning, fully upholstered comfortable seats, bonded windows, and USB sockets on the sides. For the driver`s comfort, it includes features such as a hydraulic seat with lateral displacement, curtains, partition, and a multiplex keyboard that facilitates the control of various bus functions.
Prioritizing everyone`s safety, the unit is also equipped with accordion-type doors with pneumatic operation, reverse sensor and alarm, as well as a door blocker to prevent it from opening when the vehicle is in motion. Additionally, it boasts four electronic destination boards, a panel with digital speed indicator, electronic turnstile, electronic validator, and preparation for Wi-Fi and monitoring systems.
