MOVILI TRANSPORTES PLACED 10 NEW APACHE VIP V BUSES INTO SERVICE IN ITAPETININGA

2024-11-05 Caio, a manufacturer of urban buses, produced 10 units of the Apache Vip V model, a best-seller, for Movili Transportes, part of the Viação Rosa group. The vehicles are now operating in the city of Itapetininga, a municipality in São Paulo with a population of approximately 164,000 inhabitants.
About Apache VIP
The buses are mounted on a Volkswagen 17-230 chassis, featuring a fixed suspension, 12.745 mm in length, and a total capacity of 81 passengers—41 seated, 39 standing, and one driver.
The bodies are equipped with three pneumatic accordion doors on the right side, with emergency activation on the front door.
To ensure passenger comfort, the seats are injected, fully upholstered, and equipped with headrests. The driver’s seats are also upholstered, hydraulic, and feature lateral movement.
These units are equipped with a semi-automatic lift at the central door, four seats reserved for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility, and elderly passengers, as well as an exclusive area for wheelchair users and visually impaired people accompanied by guide dogs, promoting accessibility in transportation.
The buses come with advanced technology, including three electronic route signs located at the front, right side, and on the base of the dashboard, integrated with the multiplex system.
They also feature LED lighting inside the cabin and on the door box above the steps to facilitate access to the bus. Additionally, the buses left the factory prepped for the installation of validators, micro-cameras, and monitors. Other features include a reverse alarm with night dimmer, electromechanical fare collection turnstile, multiplex keyboard, USB ports, and PNDV (a device indicating the current speed of the bus).
