BB TRANSPORTE E TURISMO UPGRADES FLEET WITH 15 CAIO APACHE VIP BUSES

2024-11-13 BB Transporte e Turismo has been active in the urban bus sector since 1975, establishing itself over the years in Greater São Paulo by providing municipal and intermunicipal passenger transport services. In October of this year, it modernized its fleet and reinforced its legacy by acquiring 15 units of the Apache VIP V, Caio`s best-selling model, which are now operating in Barueri (SP).

About Apache VIP

All buses are designed for comfort, with fully padded seats and air conditioning. They were built on the Mercedes-Benz 13.2-meter chassis, equipped with Euro VI technology, adopted in Brazil to reduce pollutant emissions.

Accessibility features include semi-automatic lifts at the center doors, designated seating, and a dedicated area for wheelchair users or visually impaired passengers accompanied by guide dogs, with three-point seat belts.

Onboard technologies include a reverse alarm with nighttime attenuation, multiplex keyboard, USB outlets, electromechanical turnstiles, and internal lighting in the cabin and door frame above the steps, facilitating passenger boarding and unboarding. Additionally, the units are equipped with points for installing microcameras and validators. Electronic route displays are strategically positioned and feature an integrated controller on the multiplex panel.
