WITH THE DELIVERY OF 15 APACHE VIP BUSES, TO SANTO ANTÔNIO BUS SERVICE COMPANY, JOINVILLE NOW COUNTS ON MORE COMFORT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

2024-08-02 Transporte e Turismo Santo Antônio, a company established in the state of Santa Catarina, acquired 15 new Caio buses to renew its fleet.

Namely, they are ten units of Apache Vip bus version V, assembled on Volkswagen chassis, and five Apache Vip bus version V, assembled on Mercedes-Benz chassis, all of them provided with Euro VI technology, which will now attend the city of Joinville.

Maintaining the fleet always in excellent conditions to serve the population is a key objective of Transporte Turismo Santo Antônio.

The new buses are comfortable, more efficient and less polluting, representing a better quality of life for all users of the city`s public transport service.

According to Jardel Stadtlober, representative of Caio company, “Santo Antônio operates in the urban and charter lines. It is an extremely organized company, and thus, it is an example for the entire State. About the buses

Apache Vip V, Volkswagen chassis, 13.2 meters – 5 units

The units are fifth-generation Apache Vip models, manufactured by Caio. They are 13.2 meters long, total capacity for 85 passengers, and are assembled on a 17-230 ODS full air chassis, manufactured by Volkswagen.

Each unit is provided with three bellows-type doors on the right side (front, middle, rear).
It is equipped semi-automatic lift in the mid door, on the right side of the body; five seats reserved for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly; one seat for obese passengers, and an exclusive area for wheelchair users or people with visual impairment, accompanied by a guide dog, with three-point seat belt, providing full accessibility during transport.

For passenger comfort, Apache Vip Caio provides air conditioning and electromechanical turnstiles and ticket validators, and USB sockets on the seat sides. The units also allow the installation of micro cameras and Wi-Fi system.


Apache Vip V, Mercedes-Benz chassis, 13.2 meters – 5 units

The units are fifth-generation Apache Vip models, manufactured by Caio. They are 13.2 meters long, total capacity for 85 passengers, and are assembled on OF-1721 L/59 EURO VI chassis.

Each unit is provided with three bellows-type doors on the right side (front, middle, rear), all of them with electropneumatic and emergency drives. It is equipped semi-automatic lift in the mid door, on the right side of the body; five seats reserved for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly; one seat for obese passengers, and an exclusive area for wheelchair users or people with visual impairment, accompanied by a guide dog, with three-point seat belt, providing full accessibility during transport.
