VIAÇÃO BELA SINTRA RENEWED ITS FLEET WITH FOUR ADDITIONAL CAIO APACHE VIP UNITS

2024-09-16 Bela Sintra, company of the Viação Miracatiba Group – traditional Caio client, invested in four additional fifth-generation Apache Vip model buses, which is the best-selling urban bus in Brazil. The vehicles will operate for public transportation in the city of Itapecerica da Serra, located in the Greater São Paulo region.

Known for its natural beauty and stunning landscapes, the city has total area of 151.458 Km² and population near 178 thousand inhabitants.

Gildo Rego Vendramini, sales representative of Caio in the São Paulo region, emphasizes that the purchase of Apache Vip models in Bela Sintra fleet strengthens the Caio partnership with Viação Miracatiba Group: “It is gratifying for Caio to contribute with this fleet renewal and collaborate with the public transportation in the city of Itapecerica da Serra. About Apache Vip

All the fifth-generation buses are 9.7m long and have their bodies assembled on Mercedes-Benz OF-1619/52 chassis, provided with Euro VI technology, adopted in the country for lower emission of pollutants.

For passenger safety, the buses have been equipped with bellows-type doors and windows with glued panoramic glasses, and emergency activation. By its turn, for thermal comfort, all of them are provided with air conditioning.

The vehicles also provide collection equipment, such as electromechanical turnstiles and ticket validators, in addition to other onboard technologies, such as rear gear alarm, LED lighting in the internal passenger compartment and preparation for micro cameras.

Four electronic itinerary displays have been installed on the outer side of the buses for easier viewing of the lines upon passenger boarding.
