Urbi renews its fleet with 322 units of Apache Vip bus, Caio brand

2022-12-19 To renew and further modernize its fleet, intended for the passengers collective transport of Brasília, Urbi Mobilidade acquired 322 zero km units of Apache Vip, Caio brand. The forecast is that by the end of December, all units will have been delivered.

A traditional Caio customer, Urbi was the first operator in Brasília to add the latest generation of Apache Vip to its fleet. The company operates in Basin 3, which comprises the regions of Samambaia Sul and Norte, Recanto das Emas, Núcleo Bandeirante and Riacho Fundo I and II.
Urbi also recently hosted, at its operational unit, the Technical Meeting, one of the services offered by Caio to the customers, to strengthen the relationship, listen to suggestions and needs, resulting in improvements in the brand`s products and services.

About the Apache Vip produced
Measuring 12,700 mm in length, the Apache VIP has three doors with front boarding. The large interior hall accommodates upholstered, comfortable armchairs, coated with material that is easy to clean and maintain. Windows with barriers glass to solar effects, provide thermal comfort during the journeys.
The buses have 100% accessibility, are equipped with a semi-automatic elevator and items such as a stop button in Braille and reserved seats for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and the elderly. They have an area reserved for wheelchair users or visually impaired people, accompanied by a guide dog.
Validators and electronic turnstiles were installed in the vehicles, as well as preparation for a radio installation, internal micro cameras and a GPS system, which result in convenience and safety
Still thinking about passenger safety, the Apache Vip also have bellows-type doors, which have electro-pneumatic activation and blockers, preventing unexpected opening during the journey.
All units are equipped with electronic itineraries in LED, installed at strategic points on the body, such as on the side, base of the panel and in the rear window, facilitating the lines visibility to the passengers.
