São Paulo increases its bus fleet

2014-05-27 Bus operators in São Paulo city are renewing their fleets with Caio Induscar buses, to serve various bus corridors in the state capital, helping people travel with greater ease, and reducing their travel time. This increases the total number of passengers carried on buses improving urban mobility in the city.

More than 600 units are being acquired and the model chosen is the Millennium BRT low floor in feeder, articulated, and super-articulated versions. The design of this family of buses has been inspired by the latest designs in world transport systems, conveying splendour and operational speed.

All vehicles are fitted with a multiplex system (controlling all the electrics in the bus body), digital speed indicators, Cushioned passenger seats, and accessibility ramps.

Two hundred and fifty-one units are fitted with air conditioning, which will be evaluated according to passenger satisfaction and performance on the city streets.

It is fundamental to Caio Induscar to produce buses which meet client expectations, improving the quality of urban transportation.
