Renovation of the Uberlândia fleet has 92 Apache Vip Caio

2019-07-18 Located in the Mineiro triangle, the city of Uberlândia, which has 683,247 inhabitants (Estimate - IBGE 2018), received 92 new Apache Vip model buses, produced by Caio Induscar. The vehicles are part of the fleet renewal of three companies operating in the city.

Of the 92 units, 30 were acquired in the second half of 2018 by Viação Sorriso de Minas. The rest were delivered in 2019, with 41 buses for Turilessa and 21 for Transporte Urbano São Miguel.

The buses are equipped with technology items such as GPS system preparation, remote and electronic ticketing, LED electronic routes and an internal camera monitoring system, providing greater security for everyone who uses public transport.

They are fully accessible, with automatic lifts and seats intended for people with disabilities (PcD), reduced mobility and the elderly.
They have pneumatic drive doors, original chassis locks, which prevent unexpected opening during the ride. This system also does not allow the vehicle to move with the doors open.

Aiming to provide more comfort and thermal comfort to passengers, all buses have a barrier to the sun`s effects in the tinted glass windows.

Some of the vehicles purchased have USB sockets, installed in all passengers` seats. They have other differential items, with the aim of providing the driver with more safety and comfort during the trips, such as the installation of retractable pneumatic armchair and headrest, in addition to a built-in ceiling fan above the driver of the vehicle, to provide better ventilation on hot days.
