HP AND RÁPIDO ARAGUAIA PLACE 60 ADDITIONAL BUSES IN OPERATION
2024-08-28HP Transportes Coletivos and Rápido Araguaia recently purchased sixty Caio diesel and electric buses to attend the Metropolitan Network of Public Transport (RMTC), a systemic unit composed by all the public transport lines and services that attend Goiania and the eighteen integrated municipalities.
From the sixty buses, ten are equipped with eMillenium body, Scania chassis with raised floor, 15m long, Eletra electrification system and Weg batteries, five of them to be delivered to HP Transportes Coletivos, and the other five to Rápido Araguaia. From the remaining fifty units of Apache Vip V model, assembled on Volkswagen chassis, with a 3rd steered axle, twenty-five are to be delivered to Rápido Araguaia and the other twenty-five to HP.
Neomar Guimarães Costa, representative of Caio, highlights the sustainability in the choice of electric vehicles: “These electric buses reflect the importance that HP and Rápido Araguaia give to the population, as the vehicles do not pollute and are silent. These companies increasingly improve the public transport in Goiania.”
