GRUPO CAIO STARTS 2024 WITH A NEW CLASS IN THE INDUSTRIAL LEARNING PROGRAM

2024-03-01 By the end of January, nearly 200 young people were reunited at the auditorium of Escola Senai, in Botucatu, SP, to be integrated in the Industrial Learning Program of companies of Grupo Caio.

In a partnership with Senai, for the second successive year, the program was adapted by the Group’s team of People & Management, aiming at personal, technical, and professional qualification of young people aged 14 to 24 years old.

The professionalizing qualification is free of costs, and courses in the technical areas of mechanical manufacturing, systems development, electronic systems assembly, mechanics, electrics, welding, and others are offered.

In addition to technical classes, conducted at Senai, the program also offers activities focused on behavioral development, supported by the Group’s team of People & Management.

“Senai partnership and out internal training methodology contribute to the strengthening of ethical and disciplinary values, in addition to the qualification of new talents for the internal opportunities of the career. Our training team and managers are dedicated to building knowledge and development of the skills of these young people”, says Inez Daroz, supervisor of Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development.

The classes are held in half period of the day at Senai, and the practical part of the disciplines may occur at the facilities of the Group’s companies, with supervised technical activities. The industrial director of the bus manufacturer Caio, Wilson Cavalari, highlights the importance of the program for the development of technical skills. “We know that our young people have important talents, and we are proud of helping them in this enhancement process, guiding them to the labor market.”

To Anthony Afonso de Carvalho, apprentice of the Mechanical Manufacturing Technician, with practice in the Marketing Department, “the Program allows my technical development, as well as adds new knowledge and growth opportunities that will be useful for me to structure my professional career. With this contract, I can also financially contribute to my family. I have recommended and encouraged my friends to look for learning and growth opportunities through this program.”

Maria Laura de Melo Nunes, apprentice of the Production Line Assistance, comments: “I feel grateful for the opportunity, and for the new learning phase. The program contributes to the improvement in skills, such as self-reliance, capacity of solving problems, and increasing the contact network.”
