2013-02-15Caio Induscar took part in the UMA show – United Motor Coach Association from 20th to 23rd of January in Orlando, Florida, USA.
The show’s objective was to present the latest market trends to its major USA clients. The exhibition was aimed at a specialized public, of coachbuilders, assemblers, parts manufacturers, operators, and contractors in the industry.
Caio Induscar exhibited two long distance buses at the event; the Giro 3400 and Giro 3600, both meeting American standards. The models on show had toilets, tour guide seats, DVD monitors, air conditioning, heating, along with other options making the buses more comfortable and modern. Taking an active part was Caio North America, our local sales office, and our new distributor, the Alliance Bus Group, covering the whole US and Canadian market which through its 400 branches will be responsible for unit sales and aftersales, and supporting Caio clients through the whole cycle.
New sales were sought during the show. Our bus bodies will meet new American legislation, which requires lower pollution levels.
It is fundamental to Caio Induscar to manufacture quality bus bodies meeting client requirements and gaining new markets.
The February 2013 edition of National Bus Trader published an in-depth article on these Caio/Alliance group buses which stated the following:
“The final result was a project/design of bus combining strength and durability with a more efficient construction method”.
