Caio Induscar refurbishes bus to transport students

2013-10-28 Caio Induscar refurbished a Carolina IV microbus for Botucatu Municipal Council, aimed at transporting students with physical disabilities to and from three units of the Workers University situated in Botucatu.

The unit was delivered last Friday 18th October by Caio Induscar Industrial Director, Mauricio da Cunha, to the city mayor, João Cury, accompanied by the municipal development secretary, Edison Baptistão.

The interior of the bus built in 1990, was completely refurbished to transport students in more comfort and safety. To achieve this, the number of seats was reduced from 29 to 17, creating space to transport two wheelchairs; the seats were replaced with a more modern model with cushioning; the driver and helper’s seats are now hydraulic.

Other alterations were made to the floor, internal roof and sides finish, other visual improvements and the fitting of an elevator.

Caio Induscar are delighted to refurbish a bus which is considered a beacon of the company’s great success in serving the community.
