Caio Induscar Group invests more 30 millions in Botucatu
2013-04-24Caio Induscar Group continues to contribute to the growth and development of Botucatu city and region, employing almost 5 thousand people and generating about 30 thousand indirect jobs.
The beginning was the purchase of Caio facilities and brand, then, the assembly of the fiber and glass factory (Fiberbus) and of plastic parts (Inbrasp). During 2013, the Group will invest R$ 30 million in the new Industrial Complex, where Staroup was settled before.
Such expansions enable the arising of new work spots, besides opportunities for the group employees.
The new Industrial Complex is formed by four companies: a tempered glass plant, presently located at Fiberbus that will be transferred to this place. With new layout and equipment, Tecglass will start its activities in May 2013, increasing its productive capacity and revenue in 40% within six months.
The present doors and windows cell, located in Caio Induscar plant, will be part of Tecglass, opening space for the bus body manufacturer growth.
The possibilities of the glass business will be more extensive and in the future, besides supplying to Caio and the automotive segment in general, may expand to the building sector.
Another company of the new Complex is CPA - Centro de Processamento de Alumínio (Aluminum Processing Center), intended to process and transform aluminum coils into plates. The activities are expected to start in the first quarter of 2014, resulting in more opportunities of work.
Also settled in the Complex, GR3 has the objective to distribute the processed aluminum products to attend Caio Induscar as well other customers, contributing to the city revenue increase.
In the local, there is also an Administrative Center to serve the Complex companies in Human Resources, Information Technology, Maintenance and other sectors.
Besides increasing the city revenue, the Industrial Complex will employ over 200 people.
For this project and others, the Group is supported by São Paulo State Government and Botucatu City Hall, with improvement to enlarge the bus body builder plant, complementing the Group efforts to keep developing.
