Last Thursday, August 8, the graduation ceremony of the third class of the Caio Induscar Group Corporate University was held, with the participation of 20 employees, selected by the Human Resources area after previous appointment by the managers.
The selection of the participants is carried out by means of specific criteria such as evaluating performance, leadership and posture profile, professional investment made in the career, company and work process knowledge, academic training, writing and a theoretical test.
Created in 2016, the Program aims to prepare and develop the behavioral and leadership skills of Caio Group employees.The duration is about 15 months, with a workload of approximately 170 hours of training.
The content is formed by several disciplines among them:Self knowledge; Self development; Emotional Intelligence and Influence; Coaching and Leadership; People, Climate and Results Management; Quality Tools and Quality Management Systems of Caio Induscar Group; Project Management, Information Security and Management Tools; Team Building - Building Successful Teams; Civil and Criminal Liability in the context of Occupational Safety; Corporate Entrepreneurship; Business plan.At the end, Course Conclusion Works (TCC) are developed, with themes aimed at improving the Group.
According to the corporate manager of Human Resources, Silvio dos Santos, in the three editions of the Corporate University, of the 70 graduated students, around 55% have already been promoted. “We were very happy with these results, demonstrating that students are learning to take advantage of all the knowledge offered. The course has an important workload, with themes that seek the development of competences, which we consider essential in the daily life of the organization, making it a pioneering training program ”.
Another point highlighted by the HR manager and worth mentioning is the 20 employees (or 29% of the total of graduates) who have already been promoted to formal leadership positions.
Marcelo Medeiros, from the Methods and Process area, is one of the employees who was promoted to supervisor and was also a 100% attendance student during the course.“The Corporate University was a great opportunity for learning, validation and reflection.Knowing that the Caio Group is seeking to provide the professional and personal growth of employees, arouses the motivation in all of us, so that we can be in constant evolution, together with the company.
