CAIO ELECTRIC BUSES TO BE FEATURED AT GOIÁS CAMPUS PARTY

2023-06-06 The Goiás Campus Party, which takes place at the beginning of June, will focus on the world of urban mobility during the five-day event. In order to connect with the theme, participants will be transported to the festival by 100% Brazilian electric buses, with Caio eMillennium bodies, Eletra electric traction and integration, electric motors, Weg batteries and a Scania chassis kit developed for electric vehicles.

From June 7 to 11, Caio will be present at the third edition of the Goiás Campus Party, the largest technology, entrepreneurship, science and disruptiveness festival in the world, which takes place in more than 30 countries. In line with this year`s theme, ``Mobility and the Connected Citizen``, participants will be transported free of charge by a 100% electric Caio eMillennium bus, with Eletra electric traction and integration, Weg electric motor and batteries. Another eMillennium unit will be on display at the event.
The action is an initiative of the Goiás Government in partnership with HP Transportes and Rápido Araguaia, owners of the electric buses that will transport the event`s participants. Both companies are traditional Caio customers and belong to RedeMob - Rede Metropolitana de Transportes Coletivos, a consortium of concessionaires operating in Goiânia and integrated cities.
One of the purposes is to conduct tests with Caio`s eMillennium buses, manufactured in partnership with Eletra, Weg and Scania, operating with passengers in the Goiânia Metropolitan Region, which aims to become a national benchmark in urban mobility.
The bus will depart from Praça Universitária, passing through Praça Cívica until it reaches Passeio das Águas Shopping, the venue for the event.

About eMillennium
The Caio eMillennium is a body developed with Brazilian technology exclusively for battery-electric chassis. In order to provide thermal comfort, the vehicles have air conditioning with an anti-pollen filter, which traps dust particles, fungi and bacteria.
The units also have mobile ramps, reserved seats and space for wheelchair users, offering full accessibility for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly.
