Caio delivers the first twenty vehicles with air conditioning and five doors to the ABC region

2019-06-17 The cities of São Paulo’s ABC region, which are served by Viação ABC, are receiving 20 Apache VIP, Caio brand urban buses. The model was chosen for its structural strength and durability. The company is a traditional client of the brand, with a 100% Caio fleet.

The units are the first with air conditioning that will operate in the region, which is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, covering a population of more than 2.7 million inhabitants.

The new vehicles also have a total of five doors on both sides of the body, another item produced for the first time for the region, which will soon include more exclusive lanes for buses.

The new Apache Vip units add what is the most modern in the segment to ABC public transportation, also including items of onboard technology such as monitors and cameras in the doors, which help in the management of the fleet system and passenger safety.

Wi-fi system for internet access and USB plugs to recharge mobile devices are also differentials of the bodies, which have internal lighting and electronic itineraries in LED.

Lift and exclusive seats for people with disabilities, reduced mobility and the elderly, provide total accessibility. The vehicles have the capacity to accommodate 77 passengers, of which 34 are seated.
