Belo Horizonte and the Metropolitan Area receive 60 Apache VIP units from Caio

2019-04-16 In order to renew its fleet, which serves the Public Transportation passengers of Belo Horizonte and the Metropolitan Area, Viação Sidon acquired 60 of the Apache VIP units, produced by Caio Induscar, the largest urban car body manufacturer in Brazil.

The partnership between Caio and Sidon is a solid and longstanding one. The company has acquired products from the brand, known for its sturdiness, quality and durability, since the 70`s. Currently, Sidon has a fleet of 280 buses, 95% of which are made up of Caio vehicles.

Of the 60 units acquired, half are already operating in the Department of Buildings and Roads System of Minas Gerais (DEER-MG) and in the Municipality System of Ibirité.

The other 30 vehicles, which have air conditioning, arrive at the Transport and Transit System of Belo Horizonte (BHTrans), starting in April this year, in collaboration with the mobility service.
