Caio sells 110 urban buses for Allibus, São Paulo

2021-08-27 Between March and August 2021, Caio sold 110 urban buses for Allibus Transportes, 70 units of the Apache VIP model and 40 units of the F2400 model.

A long-term Caio customer, the company based in the state of São Paulo has received the first 30 4th-generation Apache VIP units, which will operate in the São Paulo East Side Transport System. The model was chosen for its safety, comfort and durability, intrinsic qualities of the brand`s products.

About Apache VIP

The brand-new, front engine vehicles were produced as a midibus version and are 9,800 mm long, with three access doors. They are 100% accessible, with space for wheelchair users, automatic elevators, and seats for people with disabilities, reduced mobility, and the elderly.

Thermal comfort is guaranteed by the air conditioner with an anti-pollen filter, which prevents the inflow of impurities harmful to health, and windows with barriers to the effects of the sun.

USB outlets, intended for recharging mobile devices, are located near the seats, available for passenger use.

The seats are ergonomic and fully upholstered for easy cleaning and maintenance. The driver`s seat is hydraulic and fully upholstered, with a headrest and three-point seat belt, ensuring protection and comfort for the driver.

All units are equipped with a multiplex system, which identifies possible failures in the operational and electric parts of the vehicle, and are prepared for micro-camera, GPS, turnstile, wi-fi, and electronic validator.

The internal lounge and the electronic itineraries have LED lighting, located at strategic points of the body.
