Caio Induscar launches executive model in the Foz 2400 family

2013-09-02 Caio Induscar is launching an executive model in the Foz 2400 Micro family, which is composed of an urban, a tourism, and now an executive model. The Foz microbus has be totally remodelled with a modern design, as well as providing better passenger comfort.

The urban version was launched in July at Transpúblico, one of the largest sector fairs in the country. The executive model was exhibited for the first time at FRESP, in the 14th Conference of Hire and Tourism companies from 29th August to 1st September in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil.

The executive model has a wrap-around front with windshield, generally rounded lines, and chrome details. It also has air grills for excellent motor cooling. The external rear-view mirrors have two fixing points and an automotive design cover. The new headlamps are a single optic unit, with automobile characteristics and a modern line in LEDs which functions as side lights.

The rear has longer lines, a totally redesigned windshield, and chrome detailing. The rear lights are in a single block with LED lights and matching bumper with two reflectors.

The sides have a seam line and rounded skirt panel lower edges giving the bus clean and harmonious lines.

Inside, the rear-view mirror has been repositioned giving an excellent view of the passenger area and internal front cupola, which contains a glove compartment, sound system, and instruments, All aimed at driver/conductor comfort and ergonomics. It also comes with injected seats, providing better ergonomics for passengers, as well as being strong and easy to clean. It also has a new instrument panel, air conditioning ducts, cup holders, and glove compartments on the motor cover, access door with internal fibreglass panelling; new plastic partition, larger side lights which make the bus stand out and be more visible at night.

The Foz has an overall length of between 7100 and 8500mm, external width of 2400mm, and external and internal heights of 2950 and 2000mm respectively and is designed for the urban, school, executive and tourism market sectors.
