CAIO GROUP CLOSES ACTIVITIES OF THE 2023 EDITION OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WITH SEVENTH CLASS GRADUATION

2023-12-20 Started in 2016, the Caio Group’s Internship Program closed the 2023 edition with presentations of projects developed by the university students during the year and the graduation of 22 participants in the last week of November.

The program is made up of a journey of learning and results, providing experience in technical activities to students, combined with behavioral practices. All the young people receive individualized mentoring and are accompanied by a Multidisciplinary Committee.

Of the 13 interns at Caio, three were hired, three had their participation in the Program extended to 2024 and the others remain in the Group`s Talent Bank. In other companies, the percentage of new hires is close to 50%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the program in absorbing young talent.

Vitor Mendes, a Management student at the Faculdade Eduvale in Avaré, points out the importance and lessons learned: ``The Internship Program was a great learning opportunity. I think the program’s structure was excellent in terms of content and programming. I was able to learn concepts and tools at the start of the journey and apply them during my time at the factory. This internship allowed me to develop not only technically but also behaviorally. I`m very grateful for all the learning and opportunities I`ve had``.

The challenges proposed during the 11 months of the program aim to provide students with an environment in which to exchange learning, combining theory and practice in more than a thousand hours of work.

Cesar Rodrigues, a Mechanical Engineering student at Anhanguera University, tells us about his experience this year: ``The Internship Program was very enriching, in terms of added technical and behavioral knowledge. It helped me define the career I want to pursue and prepared me for the job market. These are lessons that I will take with me for life and will continue to help me make decisions and be more critical in conflict situations. I`m very grateful to have been a part of it!``
