Caio, a bus manufacturer, has produced 31 Apache Vip units for Viação São José in 2022 and 2023. The public passenger transport company operates in the cities of Nova Iguaçu and Rio de Janeiro.

The chassis on which the Apache Vip were built meet the gas emission reduction standard Proconve P8, with an EURO VI engine.

About Apache VIP
The buses are 12,570 mm long, with a total capacity for 77 passengers and front boarding via a folding door.

All units are 100% accessible, with elevators and seats reserved for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly, as well as a space for wheelchair users and visually impaired people accompanied by guide dogs, with a retractable seat.

The roomy interior offers passengers a great deal of comfort, with upholstered, ergonomic seats with armrests, air conditioning and tinted windows to block out the sun`s effects.

They also have a wireless stop request and four electronic amber LED itineraries.

The units leave the factory prepared for the installation of turnstiles, electronic validators and a micro-camera system.
