Icaraí Auto Transportes acquires units of the Apache Vip midibus version

2023-06-15 The city of São Gonçalo received 10 units of the Apache Vip midibus. Located in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro, it has, according to data from the IBGE [Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics], approximately 1.1 million inhabitants, making it the second most populous city in the state.

Icaraí Auto Transportes, a member of Consórcio São Gonçalo, opted to purchase the vehicles with the aim of renewing its fleet to meet passenger demand with a top quality product, which combines modern design, comfort and safety, as well as the ease of accessing narrower roads with difficult access, due to its ideal design for this type of route.

About the Apache VIP

The vehicles are 11,360 mm long and have a total capacity of 66 people, with 2 doors and front access. In the Apache Vip bus, there is a semi-automatic elevator, space for wheelchair users and seats for people with disabilities (PwD), reduced mobility and the elderly, guaranteeing full accessibility.

Air conditioning and tinted windows with solar barriers provide optimum thermal comfort. The passenger seats are upholstered and ergonomic. The driver`s seat has a headrest and lateral displacement, providing the driver with comfort.

Technology is also always present in the buses manufactured for Icaraí. USB sockets, positioned in the interior lounge, are easily accessible to passengers for recharging mobile devices.

There is also capability for a Wi-Fi system, electromechanical turnstiles, micro-cameras and electronic validator. To ensure better visibility of the lines, electronic LED itineraries are located at different points on the body.
