City of São Paulo receives new Millennium units, Caio model

2022-02-08 KBPX Administração e Participações (Transkuba), a traditional customer of Caio Group, acquired 28 units of Millennium IV. The models acquired by Transkuba were delivered throughout the month of January and arrive to expand the fleet, which already has 226 vehicles.
The company is located in the capital of the state of São Paulo and is responsible for 16 lines in different regions of the city. The buses are in districts such as Santo Amaro (South Zone), Parque Dom Pedro (Downtown) and Pinheiros (West Zone) and carry more than 100,000 passengers a day, demonstrating the importance of this company`s performance in public transport in the largest city in the country.

All 28 units have just arrived at KBPX`s garages are approximately 13 meters long. The buses have the capacity to transport 91 people, including seated and standing passengers, driver and conductor.

In order to offer passengers the best and most up-to-date innovation, the models delivered by Caio have several resources and technological equipment present in all units. They are prepared for Wi-Fi and electronic validators, in addition to having USB sockets spread along the sides of the bodywork, allowing the charging of mobile devices and more practicality for users of public transport.

They also have other technological equipment, very useful for the driver, which is the Multiplex System, which allows the driver to monitor the electrical part of the car and activate other functions directly from the panel, making the solution of eventual problems in the bus is faster. All units have air conditioning, providing thermal comfort to passengers in the internal space of the bus.

The internal lights of the buses are all LED, both for the conductor and driver, as well as on the steps of the bodywork, aiming at energy savings and greater efficiency in lighting. They also have 2 routes, one at the top of the front and the other at the back, for better viewing the lines.

The buses have dust seals on the side, rear frame, panel base, wheelhouse and seat legs. Also noteworthy are the armchairs, PI-TE model, with full gray/yellow vinyl covering, one of the many models offered by Caio in its catalog to customers.

Rogério Leone, Caio`s sales representative for this company, commented on this important acquisition of KBPX: “The buses acquired by Transkuba are equipped with all the latest technology in the public transport scenario. Added to this, passengers can be sure they will receive products with comfort, safety and the quality that only the Caio’s brand offers”, commented Leone.
