Caio Induscar receives authorities from the Federal District

2013-05-21 Caio Induscar received on May 20 the Federal District Governor Mr. Agnelo Queiroz; vice-governor Mr. Tadeu Filipelli; Transport Secretary Mr. José Walter Vasquez; DFTrans Director Mr. Marco Campanella, government councils and the press. Caio Induscar Industrial Director Mr. Mauricio Lourenço da Cunha; National Sales Manager Mr. José Gildo Vendramini; other managers and Expresso São José, represented by its partners Mr. Luciano Gonçalves Lopes and Vandir Lopes Junior were present.

The “paulista” bus body manufacturer, along with Man Latin America, is producing buses to attend the public transport in the Federal District, with the Euro V engine new technology, emitting fewer pollutants. Also present were MAN Sales and Marketing Vice President Mr. Ricardo Alouche; Domestic Market Sales Director Mr. Antonio Cammarosano Filho; National Bus Sales Manager Mr. Wagner Nestlehner, among other MAN executives.
The authorities verified the first unit out of 576 bodies to the Federal District purchased by the costumer Expresso São José Ltda., the bid winner for Bacia 5. In Caio Induscar patio, there are over 400 chassis for immediate vehicles serial production start and, daily, more chassis are coming. Such vehicles will attend the regions of Brazilândia, Ceilândia, SIA, SCIA, Vicente Pires and part of Taguatinga.

Out of the total, 467 are Apache Vip model with chassi Volkswagen 17.230, 12,640 mm-long, 2,500 mm-wide, capacity for 40 sitting passengers, 36 standing and one person with special needs, counting on an elevator, assuring accessibility to all the passengers, besides having ergonomic seats with headrest, seats for obese, taraflex floor that makes the room cleaning and maintenance easier, besides being non slip, and smoked glass windows to decrease solar rays incidence.

Other 41 buses are Articulated Millennium BRT model with 18,940 mm of length, 2,600 mm of width, capacity for 150 passengers, with room for a wheelchair user. The model was developed after advanced studies on BRT system in several Brazilian cities.

All BRT bodies have the visual inspired in the world most modern transport systems, transmitting magnificence, originality and operational agility. Among the versions, the bodies are developed in order to meet the costumers´ needs.

It will be also produced more 68 units of Foz Super model with length of 9,600 mm and width of 2,500 mm.

Some differentials of the vehicles produced to Expresso São José are management module; CAN network; Panel Multiplex System, which identify failures in the vehicle operational and electric system; Fleet Monitoring System with cameras inside the vehicle; monitors that transmit information to passengers; internal led lighting; door blocker that avoids the vehicle moving with doors opened or the doors opening with the vehicle moving; on-board computer that will promote telemetry with tracking via GPS and GPRS, among others.
