Caio Induscar took part in the XVII March to Brasília in Defence of the Municipalities between 12th and 15th May at the Brazil Convention Centre in the Club Sul Sports Sector in Brasília.

The event unites mayors, vice-mayors, secretaries, councillors, and other municipal officers from many councils in Brazil, to discuss public administration topics such as: Health, Sanitation, Education, Finance, and Transport & Mobility.

Caio Induscar exhibited its Super Foz school bus, which is destined for the Government “Way to School” program which aims to take school transportation to all rural zones in the country. There are three ways that states and municipal councils can participate in the Way to School scheme: using their own funds; through a formal contract with FNDE; or through financing from the National Economic and Social Development Bank, which has a special line of credit for purchasing new buses.

The Caio model ORE 03 R exhibited at the event is higher than normal buses so it can negotiate difficult terrains, cross rivers, travel of potholed roads, etc. It can carry 54 seated passengers and one wheelchair user, as well as having an elevator to improve accessibility.

It is very important for Caio Induscar to participate in this type of event to demonstrate products which help improve education in the country.
