Caio Induscar manufactures Apache VIP units for cities in Ceará

2017-08-14 The cities of Caucaia, Maracanaú and Maranguape, which belong to the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, Cearás capital, received 35 Apache VIP city buses from Caio Induscar. The units are joining the fleets of the Vitória, Via Metro, Penha and Empresa São Paulo carriers.

The Apache VIPs, acquired in different versions, were adjusted for all operational needs, including those for vehicles with air conditioning, which will serve the journeys of those making the connection from these cities to the capital. All units were produced in compliance with ABNT Accessibility norms and Regulations from DETRAN - CE, the entity managing transportation in the Metropolitan region.

The solemn delivery of the units took place recently at the Praça da Estação, in Fortaleza, and was attended by governor Camilo Santana, mayors and business people.

The vehicles have features such as smoked windows, which give thermal comfort to vehicle interiors, and upholstered passenger seats, which make transportation more comfortable. They also have digital LED itineraries and two pneumatically activated doors.

Completely accessible, the Apache VIPs have an elevator and seats for riders with special needs, reduced mobility or riders who are elderly.
