Caio Induscar delivers a Foz 2400 adapted for Driver Training

2015-04-02 A Caio Induscar Foz 2400 micro bus was delivered to the AG Driver Training Centre (CFC) in Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais, to add to its fleet of special driver training vehicles.

Santa Luzia, with one of the twenty largest populations in Minas Gerais, forms part of Belo Horizonte’s metropolitan region. The colonial city protects a rich historic, cultural, and religious heritage in its narrow streets.

The Foz 2400 will be used to train drivers for Category D vehicles – buses or micro buses used to carry people with a capacity of more than 8 passengers excluding the driver.

This adapted driver training bus meets DETRAN standards, which recommend dual control brakes and clutch and a Vehicle Safety Certificate (CSV). The vehicle interior has a repositioned rear-view mirror giving the best view of the passenger compartment, a front internal cupula which contains glove compartment, sound system and instruments. Student and driving instructor seats are hydraulic with longitudinal adjustment, head rests, adjustable height seat belts, and sun shades. All these items were thought to offer safety, comfort, and ergonomics to both driving instructor and trainee.

It is part of Caio Induscar’s mission to provide buses which meet client’s requirements and provide comfort and wellbeing to users.
