Caio produces 32 Apache Vip electric version, with stainless steel coating, for Chile

2023-02-17 Caio is supplying 32 units of the electric version of Apache VIP urban bus to client Link Service, in Rancagua, central region of Chile. Present in more than 50 countries, Caio has a partnership with Comercial Brasil Buses, which represents the brand in Chile.

The vehicles will be incorporated to the fleet of buses in operation that transport employees who work at the El Teniente mine.


About the Apache Vip produced

The Apache Vip are 11,805 mm, accommodate 44 seated passengers, and have front access through a pantographic door. The large internal hall has lighting in LED, air conditioning and heating, a heating system necessary due to the region`s climatic characteristics.

The passenger seats have road model, upholstered, ergonomic, with footrest and seat belt, providing comfort and safety. The luggage carrier provides practicality throughout the journey.

All vehicles have a stainless steel structure, receive special sealing and anti-corrosion treatment, applied to vehicles that operate in areas with severe weather, such as high salinity and humidity, low temperatures, which alternate with intense heat. This differentiated care taken in the manufacturing process further increases quality standard and buses durability, in addition to reducing the need for maintenance.

They are equipped with mudguards, reversing camera, front and rear tow hook, fog light and strobe light on the rear window.

Complete, the Apache Vip are also prepared for future installation of micro cameras, radio transmitter and speakers.

Electronic itineraries in LED, located in specific locations on the bodywork, contribute to better visibility of the lines.

The vehicles are manufactured by Caio in Brazil and sent to Reborn Electric Motors, in Chile, responsible for installing the battery electrification system.
