Caio Induscar delivers Apache VIP’s to the city of Cotia

2015-04-28 Caio Induscar delivers 50 Apache VIP urban buses to Vida Azul Transportes Ltd, which has been providing bus services in the Cotia, SP area for more than 50 years.

These buses are part of the company’s fleet update program and are operating on Trunk System lines, routes with high passenger flow.

The aim is to provide better comfort and agility to the daily needs of 90 thousand passengers who use public transport in the city which forms part of São Paulo’s Metropolitan Region.

Carrying 37 seated passengers, the Apache VIP has a modern strong design and low maintenance costs. It is fitted with an elevator facilitating accessibility, 3 pneumatically operated doors; smoked glass windows; and injection moulded seats providing passenger comfort.

For safety and driver wellbeing, the model has a multiplex system which identifies vehicle electrical and operational system faults, a hydraulic driver’s seat with headrest, directional ventilation, and a door interlock.
