INTERNAL PROGRAMS OF CAIO GROUP: PROMOTING LEARNING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
2024-12-04The Caio Group is committed to promoting young talents in society through initiatives aimed at students from Elementary, High School, and Higher Education, such as the ``Industrial Learning Program`` and the ``Internship Program.`` By encouraging a culture of mutual learning, the Group believes it is not only enhancing dreams but also investing in a more promising future for its companies and the community.
The Industrial Learning Program, which started its new phase in 2023, is the result of a partnership between the Caio Group and Senai. Its mission is to qualify and integrate young people aged 14 to 21 into the job market. Currently, more than 190 students are enrolled, and about 33% of them have already been hired or are expected to be hired by 2025, in compliance with vacancy, age, and exemption guidelines.
The Internship Program, launched in 2016, offers opportunities for undergraduate students who wish to develop their professional careers while attending college. In 2024, with the eighth class, the program began with 29 interns and has achieved an employment rate of about 40% so far.
Both programs place young people in administrative, production, technical, and production support areas within the Caio Group, such as Engineering, Maintenance, Marketing, Methods and Processes, Human Resources, among others.
Inez Daroz, Recruitment & Selection and Training & Development Manager in the People & Management department, emphasizes the importance of these programs: “We believe that investing in the development of young talents is essential for both the present and the future. Our programs offer not only opportunities for personal growth and practical learning but also a stimulating environment for skill development. In this way, we prepare young people to face the challenges of the job market and become active citizens in society. On the other hand, companies benefit from people who bring new concepts and different perspectives to internal projects and processes”.
