CAIO PROMOTES ACTIONS IN SOCIAL MEDIA DURING THE MOBILITY WEEK 2024
2024-09-30Caio, a bus manufacturer, committed to social actions, conducted successfully the ``Caio Conecta:” Mobilidade Consciente” campaign, during the National Urban Mobility Week 2024, which took place on September 18-25. This week is celebrated annually and highlights two fundamental dates for urban mobility: World Car Free Day (September 22) and National Traffic Day (September 25).
The World Car Free Day invites us to think about the displacements in cities and the negative impacts of the excessive use of polluting vehicles on well-being of the society. On the other hand, the National Traffic Day raises awareness among the population about the importance of responsible attitudes, promoting behaviors that contribute to a more peaceful, conscious and safe environment. This year`s theme was ``Peace in traffic begins with you.``
The ``Caio Conecta``: Mobilidade Consciente`` campaign had the aim of highlighting the relevance of safe and intelligent urban mobility, emphasizing the essential role of public transport, especially buses, to build an accessible and safe traffic. During the whole week, Caio used its social media to share information and data about the national scenario of urban mobility, highlighting the benefits of bus utilization, including among others, reduction of traffic jams and pollutant emissions, and democratization of the access to mobility.
By this action, Caio looked for engaging the public in a creative way, promoting open dialogues about the challenges of urban mobility and the importance of a safer and more conscious traffic. Actions on social media
On the World Car Free Day, September 22, Caio launched #MobiCaio2024 challenge, encouraging the use of public transport as a practical and accessible alternative in the daily life. The action invited collaborators and the public to share their experiences in public transport, reinforcing the importance of choosing safer and less polluting options, such as buses.
On the National Traffic Day, September 25, Caio reinforced the importance of peace in traffic, raising the question “How do you contribute to safe traffic when using the bus?”. Followers shared tips that inspire responsible and respectful attitudes inside the bus, highlighting the role of everyone, drivers, passengers and pedestrians, to create safer traffic for everyone.
